Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
Creamy, naturally sweet, and packed with protein and energy, this smoothie makes an easy breakfast or post-workout snack.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon honey, optional
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½–1 cup ice
- 1 tablespoon chia or ground flaxseed, optional
Instructions
- Add everything to a blender: banana, peanut butter, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla, cinnamon, and ice.
- Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust. Add honey if you want it sweeter or a splash more milk if it’s too thick.
- Serve immediately while cold.
Easy variations
- Chocolate: Add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Higher protein: Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
- More fiber: Add 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds.
- Thicker: Use a frozen banana instead of a fresh one.
Tip: Using a frozen banana gives the smoothie a thick, milkshake-like texture without needing much ice.
