Beef and Pepper Rice Bowl Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

For the Beef & Vegetables

  • 1 lb (450 g) beef (sirloin, flank, or ribeye), thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (optional), thinly sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2–3 tbsp vegetable oil or sesame oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

For the Sauce

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1–2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
  • Optional: chili flakes or sriracha for heat

For Serving

  • 2–3 cups cooked rice (white, jasmine, or brown)
  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions, sesame seeds
