Here’s a crowd-pleasing Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball — creamy, smoky, and perfect for parties, game day, or holiday trays.


🧀🥓 Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball

🛒 Ingredients (Serves 8–10)

  • 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 6–8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
  • 2–3 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

For Rolling (Optional but Recommended)

  • Extra crumbled bacon
  • Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra shredded cheddar

🥣 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Base

In a large bowl:

  • Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Fold in cheddar, bacon, green onions, and seasonings.
  • Mix until evenly combined.

2️⃣ Shape

  • Form mixture into a ball using clean hands or plastic wrap.
  • Wrap tightly and refrigerate at least 1–2 hours (firmer = easier to serve).

3️⃣ Coat

  • Roll in extra bacon, nuts, or herbs before serving.

  • Crackers (buttery or whole grain)
  • Toasted baguette slices
  • Pretzels
  • Celery and carrot sticks
  • Apple slices (sweet contrast!)

🌶️ Optional Flavor Twists

🔥 Spicy: Add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce
🌿 Ranch Style: Add 1 tbsp dry ranch seasoning
🍯 Sweet & Savory: Mix in 1 tbsp honey
🧄 Extra Garlic: Add 1 minced fresh clove


❄️ Storage

  • Keeps refrigerated up to 4–5 days
  • Can be made 1–2 days ahead
  • Not ideal for freezing (texture may change)
